
Hi everybody!
Today's been a great day at Downtown. We met at the school and took the bus straight to the 4th street, where we hopped off: just there was the public library, a modern and huge building (see picture)
After that, we walked to the riverside and along the way we saw some important buildings: The Federal Reserve Bank and the Post Office. Then we crossed Hennepin Avenue Suspension Bridge, over the Mississippi River and to Nicollet Island. From there we could see the Falls of St. Anthony. We walked through a park up to the Old Stone Bridge (1883) and there we crossed the river again seeing the Mill Ruins Park and the lock and dam (la esclusa).

After visiting the inside of the Theater, we walked back to the main part of the city, where the shops and skyways are. And we all had half and an hour of free time. We had something to eat, but don't ask me what the others did!!
The we went back on the bus to the high school and with the American people.
By the way, and this is a message to the students, participate in the blog, write and add images. And as Jorge said this is a bilingual blog. Write new words you learnt, tell us about your families, houses... THE WORLD WANTS TO KNOW!!
