hola gente

yo voy a hacer lo mismo que ines mas o menos pero en espanol para que nos entendamos todos

a primera hemos quedado en el media center (una biblioteca como debia de ser la nuestra con muchos ordenadores y que siempre puedes usarlos) del instituto hemos salido de ahi alrededor de las 9 para cogfer el bus urbano que nos a llevao a downtown que como un barrio hemos caminado un largo rato por las orillas del rio mississippi, despues hemos estado un teatro el cual no recuerdo su nombre. Este teatro no es como el juan bravo es mu moderno habia una sala con una cristelera amarilla y todo era como el tunel de guadarrama pa enterdernos y en esta sala abia un cristal en el suelo que estaba como a 10 metros del suelo era increible
despues hemos ido a un sitio donde nos han dejado las profes

y aki viene lo mejor porque tras insistir en que llegaramos puntuales al punto de encuentro marivi e ines llegaban tarde todos los segovianos nos escondimos y despues de ver como se preocupaban un poco hemos salio pero las profes se lo han tomao bien porque ivan a acer lo mismo antes de que nosotros saliemos

hoy por la tarde he vuelto al campo de freesbee pero esta vez hemos estao jugando al futbol que typical spanish (ya he puesto algo en ingles suficiente)
a las hemos quedado muchos segovianos y nuestros americanos para ir de compras por uptown pero casi no hemos comprado.
ahora me voy a ir a la cama y eso que son las 9:30 de la noche pero estoy mu cansado

seguire escribiendo desde minneapolis para informativos la albuera (siempre he querido decir eso)

DOWNTOWN

Hi everybody!
Today's been a great day at Downtown. We met at the school and took the bus straight to the 4th street, where we hopped off: just there was the public library, a modern and huge building (see picture)

After that, we walked to the riverside and along the way we saw some important buildings: The Federal Reserve Bank and the Post Office. Then we crossed Hennepin Avenue Suspension Bridge, over the Mississippi River and to Nicollet Island. From there we could see the Falls of St. Anthony. We walked through a park up to the Old Stone Bridge (1883) and there we crossed the river again seeing the Mill Ruins Park and the lock and dam (la esclusa).

At the other side of the river there were the Mill City Museum and the Guthrie Theater, a good contrast of the 'old' and the new. Well, the Mill City Museum is placed at an old building.




After visiting the inside of the Theater, we walked back to the main part of the city, where the shops and skyways are. And we all had half and an hour of free time. We had something to eat, but don't ask me what the others did!!

The we went back on the bus to the high school and with the American people.
